What makes Hair Dr. different than Bosley?
There are 3 main differences. The first is that your consultation is done with the physician, not a high pressured sales person. You will meet with the doctor at your visit. Second. WE DO NOT CUT A PIECE OF YOUR SCALP OUT OF THE BACK OF YOUR HEAD. Third. At Hair Dr. You will ALWAYS receive Personal, Quality and Reputable Care.
What is Automated FUE?
Automated is a new device which facilitates the harvesting of follicles during a Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) transplant, dramatically improving the accuracy and speed over previously used manual extraction instruments.

We highly recommend that the patient have an airplane neck pillow. This helps the patient to sleep and be comfortable the first 3 nights, protect the patient’s neck and the grafts. We also recommend that you have some extra strength Tylenol at home to use after 24-48 hours, if needed.
What is the down time with Automated FUE?
Each patient recovers differently. However, the average time of recovery is 7-10 day.
How do I know if I am a candidate?
Candidates for restoration are those individuals with hair loss that have sufficient donor follicles on the back of the scalp to transplant into the frontal balding areas. The best candidates are men and women with only frontal or partial loss and with adequate donor follicles. At Hair Dr. The Doctor will assess the amount of coverage needed to give you the appearance you desire.

The hair that is taken for harvesting will grow back where it is implanted, however, it will not grow back on the back of the head from where it was harvested.

No, you do not have to shave your head or have you hair cut a certain way.
Will I have a visible thinner area on the back of my head where they will harvest for the transplant?
